Product Detail

Flourite® Red is a high - quality, specially fractured, stable and porous clay gravel, perfect for natural planted aquariums. Its attractive red look not only suits planted aquaria best but can also be used in any freshwater aquarium setup. When used alone as the main substrate bed, it works wonders. However, it can also be blended with other gravels. You don't need gravel modifiers like laterite. This gravel isn't chemically coated or treated, so it won't change the water's pH. It's a long - lasting solution for your aquarium and doesn't need to be replaced. It's truly a premium natural choice for planted aquariums and will serve your aquarium well throughout its life. Available Size: 3.5 kg

Using Seachem Premium Red Flourite Gravel is easy. First, clean the gravel thoroughly under running water to remove any dust or debris. Then, add it to your aquarium as the substrate. You can use it alone for the best effect or mix it with other gravels according to your preference. Since it doesn't need gravel modifiers like laterite, you can skip that step. When it comes to maintenance, there's not much to worry about. It won't alter the pH of the water, so regular water testing and changes as you normally do for your aquarium should be sufficient. This gravel is good for the life of the aquarium and doesn't need to be replaced, but if you notice a lot of debris accumulation over time, you can gently siphon it out during water changes. Keep in mind that it's designed for freshwater aquariums, so don't use it in saltwater setups.
