Product Detail

The Seachem Ammonia Alert® is a revolutionary color - changing device that continuously detects and monitors toxic free ammonia in your aquarium. The sensor smartly shifts from yellow to green to blue based on the ammonia level. You don't need any test kits, chemicals, or complex procedures. It can detect as little as 0.05 mg/L (ppm) of free ammonia, warning you about the top aquarium killer before your fish show any signs of stress. This sensor lasts over a year, outperforming competing products by lasting more than 9 times as long. It's also nearly half the size of other products, being small, clear, and unobtrusive so it won't spoil your aquarium view. It uses Seachem's advanced sensor technology and is suitable for both marine and freshwater. Each package includes 1 sensor technology card (1.5' x 2.5').

Using the Seachem Ammonia Alert Sensor is a breeze. Just place the sensor in your aquarium, and it will start continuously monitoring the free ammonia levels. You'll notice the color change from yellow to green to blue as the ammonia concentration goes up. There's no need to use test kits or add any chemicals. As for maintenance, there's not much you need to do. Just leave it in the water, and it'll keep working for over a year. However, keep in mind that this product is not recommended for use in acidic pH environments. If you want to keep an eye on your aquarium's ammonia levels without any hassle, this sensor is a great choice. And don't worry about it taking up too much space or ruining the look of your aquarium because it's small and unobtrusive.
